Brian Hilligoss began singing on the Grand Ole Opry when he was just 21 years old, with many years of touring under his belt and working as a writer, director and producer, he’s made it back to N.C. where he grew up. Having booked and canceled a show at the Purple Onion during COVID, Brian, his friends, fans, and family are excited to enjoy an evening of his original music, stories, and poems, finally. Brian engages the audience in a way that is unique and makes folks feel better for having been there!
White Horse Black Mountain features Brian for a solo, intimate deep-dive of original songs and stories along with the songwriters and tunes that inspired him as a writer. Look for Brian to weave his original stories, songs, and poems around tunes from Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, Darrell Scott, Rodney Crowell, Nanci Griffith, and others. A few surprises may turn up in the set list! Look for this to be a different sort of event :). Tickets on sale at www.whitehorseblackmountain.com - $15-$18

After spending 12 years based in Southern California, songwriter Alice Wallace became a Nashville resident a year ago – bringing her West Coast-infused Americana to Music City. Named the 2017 Female Vocalist of the Year at the California Country Awards, Alice draws influence from iconic voices ranging from Linda Ronstadt to Patsy Cline, not to mention keeping the country yodel alive with songs from classic artists like Patsy Montana and Don Walser….
